Dear Bawa, just now I saw your – Technology of Spirituality – Part 6 and it was Brilliant.
Soft skills are so much more important, yet in India this is hardly given any attention. I live in the US and I’ve been noticing over and over again, in office meetings, at social circles etc, Indians don’t know how to talk!! I should not generalize but this is the case with atleast most of them. We are very shy, can’t express or communicate our thoughts and lack leadership skills. Whereas the local people may not have any knowledge on the subject but are such great communicators and have so much confidence, that even if they know nothing they make such good managers. I’ve been observing this for a while now and seeing your video today, I felt like you nailed it.
The youth of India today are though comparatively much better. There is a difference to those who went to school/college in the 70s and 80s or earlier in that the youth today are more confident and are adventurous and willing to try new things. I just hope we wake up and our education system gets revamped to develop a well-rounded personality. Success should no longer be determined by the marks we get but rather by what extra activities we participate in.
I personally have a lot to work on my soft skills. This realization has struck me quite late but I am hoping with my attention now in the right direction coupled with the Art of Living techniques, I will become a good, confident and effective communicator. Jai Gurudev.
Any plan to visit Nashik in near future
Just read the Times of India article.
It is the best eye-opener article I ever read.
