Doubt
For 7 years, every week Guruji (Sri Sri Ravi Shankar) used to send out a page of Knowledge to be read out and discussed at the satsangs happening all over the world. He used to call it the Knowledge fax … This was before email became popular enough for everyone to use 
Every week we waited eagerly for what Guruji would say through these Knowledge Sheets, many times we would be with Him while He dictated them out and we compiled them. The atmosphere would always be full of wisdom coupled with big doses of mirth. And the Knowledge sheets themselves are always profound, sometimes quite funny…
Dinesh and i decided to do a commentary on them, reliving those precious moments spent with Guruji, reading them out for you and peppering them with stories and examples of how this Knowledge from Him has come alive for us in our lives.
Re reading them now, after so many years of Sadhana, Seva and Satsang has made us realise just how beautiful and precious these words from Him are … We are throughly enjoying ourselves making these videos, we know you will love watching them too.

I am slightly shocked at how appropriately this knowledge sheet has been timed! I have had days of serious doubt, no doubt a byproduct of a clouded mind.
Guruji is brilliant! Who says there’s no such thing as telepathy?

As chidlren, i remember, ( i used to watch mainly
there would be a game when we’d pick a hapless flower, and pluck its petals one by one, saying for each petal plucked, till they were all done .. she loves me .. she loves me not .. and as i remember, since childrens’ prana is usually high, it would end (or be made to end 
on she loves me !!
there’s this really cute scene from fiddler on the roof (all the songs are btw on youtube btw, as i was delighted to discover recntly) .. in “if i were a rich man..” Topol looks quizzically at the heavens and asks “would it spoil some vast etermal plan..” … (if i were a wealthy man !) (is it okay to breathe now !) (can i take a step to the right now ..) (can i take a step to the left now ..)! love

I liked your talk very much…. So when there is too doubt I should just see black or white, i.e I have to make a decision without being in the question mark stage all the time right? Even if I have made the wrong decision I will learn from it in future and the experience will help me take the right decisions right? So its better to make decisions based on certain approximations and faith rather than be confused, doubtful all the time… right?
Right … you think for a bit, but then dont dilly dally… make up your mind and go for it, and if you were wrong, you were wrong, apologize, learn from it and move ahead

I asked you this question because some AOL people talk about Guruji’s miracles merely based on others’ experiences! I was shocked… dont u think enlightenment is beyond such siddis and intuition… Why are people so mesmerised by so called miracles! At the same time I was also reading blogs that talk very ill of Guruji. Some in AOL also exaggerated and lied about many processes and promises. However 8 months of Kriya has created huge transformation in life. It has improved my relationships with others and refined my emotions. However my focus in studies and work has remained poor. So amidst all this confusion, I dropped analysing and researching on whether Guruji is fake (What is fake defined as? What is enlightenment? are other doubts… so its a big cobweb!) and decided to continue my sadhana, be grateful to him and give allowance to time….
When I first met him in Cinncinati I did not feel any presence (well.. I cant expect not to have any expectations!) but the meditation was awesome and I have always liked his sweet tone of speaking.
Anyways…..

Sometimes I ask Guruji a question and he gives me an answer like “don’t worry” or “do this” – but then the outcome doesn’t seem to be what I expected. Especially “don’t worry” – I just worry more. Is the answer only valid at the point in time that I asked the question or in general ? I used to have lots of doubt in Guruji but now my faith has become stronger. But still I wonder why I get vague answers to questions even though I’ve asked him precise questions. Do we always have to ask Guruji questions or is it faith good enough to make the correct decisions ?Thanks for your advice on this. JGD
