This week, it’s time to learn to make wishes.
Many times i have heard Guruji say in satsang, tonight make a sincere wish from your heart, before going to sleep… many people do have things they really want, and most have reported that when they wished for it, they got it. But most people don’t know what to wish for…. so here is guide to making wishes 
As in asking questions to the Guru, the first thing you need is to be completely sincere. With love in your heart and with utmost sincerity, make your wish.
Your wish should be expressible in one small sentence. Don’t make a paragraph out of it. Wish for ONE thing only. Preferably, make it a positive sentence. So instead of saying i wish i don’t have to go to a boarding school to study, wish, i wish i can stay right here in Bombay to study.
Always add or better to your wish, so if Guruji wishes to give you much more or better that what you want, He has the option to do so
So instead of wishing, i wish i get a million dollars, say, i wish i get a million dollars or better (He may want to give you 10 million)…
When in doubt, wish that whatever is best, let that happen.
The best wish you can ask for is shraddha… there is no good english word for it, but it can be translated as faith. When you have the faith, then everything else will come to you…

I once heard Guruji say that the best wish one can ask for is contentment. So, yes, maybe Shradda and Trupthi (or even better). Though, have to make sure that we ask it in english….knowing that the divine loves fun…just in case He mistakes it for names….things might get out of hand at home

How true and what a coincidence. I have the habit of writing my wishes as SMS to Guruji and save in draft. Just 2 days back I wrote to Him to give me faith and I don’t want anything more

anytime … but dont make too many wishes, make one or two and then wait…

Can I make a smart wish like ‘I wish I am enlightened’ or ‘I wish I am always happy and peaceful’ because if these wished are granted what more do I need in life?!! Dont u think all smaller wishes and wants are meant for the above wishes?
Will Guruji grant such wishes or will he ignore them as being too ‘complicated’ ?
You can make those wishes … for the first one, do you really want it? if you really do, then it will be yours
for the second, just drop the always and you are already there

e.g. I have seen/experienced car so I can make a wish for that? But I have not experienced the ‘Enlightenment’ then how that will come from inside that I want it? Bcoz I have no idea what it is?

A couple of quick questions on this one Bau:
1. Do wishes need to recurring? That means, up till the wish gets fulfilled do I need to keep repeating the process.
2. Does barter work with God? I have heard a lot of people (in AOL too) get into transaction mode. For example, if I quit smoking, God (in my case Guruji) will give me X, Y, Z. Or If I do X amount of seva, then this would happen. Does this work?
1. nope… a strong intention and then just let go
… fear and greed help for a bit, but its finally love that clinches the deal
2. many people like to think that it works

bau but y to make a wish?(ofcourse i need a lot 4m him) there is a certain section of “spiritual” ppl who say a Guru knows what to give you and when to give you…so is it fine to ask for something from him?or if we don’t ask,is there a possibility that he will not grant,as we may not have asked?or what if we ask and it doesn’t get fulfilled?does it mean that we are not sincere?or lack of seva/karma?or not good for us or not given 100%?
Defintely He does, and He/the Universe will give you what you require when you require … but the mind is the way the mind is, so to quiten it, we can make some wishes…
I am going to use these words again and again! For me and others too whenever it’s time to make a wish!

You have been with Gurudev for the past so many years now and you have been showered with the Abundance of his grace.. I often feel Guruji’s presence in my heart and I cannot be sure whether He is actually with me or whether it is my own self/imagination conjuring up ideas
.. How does a Sadhak get a concrete realisation or experience that the Master is with him and is guiding him/her every step of the way.. The Guru/Shishya relationship is very personal and everyone likes to believe that the Master is there only for them.But does the Master,on the other hand differentiate one seeker from the other?.. Please shed light on this..

I also had this experience dat god gives us what v need and truly ask for.. but there was a decision i asked him to take it for me .. the result came but i am unable to take it.. i realized it late that i love the person so much..i really love him and don’t think i will be able to make any one happy but him…

What if i love someone a lot & i need her .Should i wish that i need her in my life or if not then someone better lol ? Coz i love her alot no one can be better thn her .

You dont really know if she is best for you … so, wish for her or anyone else that Guruji feels is bes for you

first u need to ask whether u really love her, cause if its the case u would not tkink that any one else is better for you than her..
@ Aditi -Yeaa Ofcourse i do love her a lot .But the connection between us is very critical at the moment .It’s kinda everything have turned into mess .Whereas it wasn’t my mistake at all .Well i never blame her though but at this situation i can just do one thing that is “Make a WISH”

Bau, sometimes there is some fallout as well with wishes being granted, shd we address this as well, or let things take its course? In such a case one might also wonder if we’d meddled with the intended flow somehow…
With the Guru with you, and your Sadhana Seva and Satsang, only good will come, dont worry about meddling
