A DSN
We had a fantastic DSN over the weekend… Now i usually don’t post about courses we teach but this one was different 
We taught the entire course from our room on the Ashram … using Skype!
Though there were a few lost connections, and the video freezing and stuff … the course (if i may say so myself) was fabulous!
JD and Rajeev were the technicians at the Ashram and Virat, Vasudha and the Goregaon team from Mumbai made it possible at their end… Click to read about the first ever Skype DSN
btw, the first ever YES!+ course to be taught on Skype starts in a few days in Poona …tentatively on the 14th or 15th of Spetember

Dear Bawu…
Today morning i opened ur blog having the feeling of “i know there would be no new post till tomorrow i.e Thursday … i know how it is with Bawu….. only posts on Mondays and Thursdays ” …
my feeling was true…there was nothing new… still the site was kept opened…
i simply refreshed it in the afternoon and got treated with this new post
feeling grateful …thank you bawu… for having this blog… and giving us the pleasure of enjoying it
Terrific Idea… now we can synchronise several courses in different cities.. Now i know why they say a yogi can show up at several places at the same time…

But what is the sense of having a course through video confrencing i mean,would it feel the same,i mean a teachers physical presence inevitable.But again,its just what i feel.if travelling is not possible than might as well postpone it…

Although the DSN through Skype was excellent we honestly missed meeting you and dinesh da personally!!! Nevertheless, it was amazing and I’m proud to have been part of the trend setting course!!!

Are you getting ready to retire? rather getting ready to not travel as much? This will really really break the hearts of many (like me) who like to be in your physical company… please don’t make this a habit…

But ….Bau your physical presence matter ……………Specially i don’t like it….it can happen only in a rare case when you cant come n extremely busy
Bawa the idea sounds great. But to be very frank with you, no SKYPE and no Visual thing can replace your Physical Presence!
A selfish wish : may you become more and more busier, yet physically present everywhere. I know that is IMPOSSIBLE. But i want this to happen. Guruji is God and you are angel
Aren’t angels supposed to be everywhere? I don’t know what i am writing… It is just the love flowing with full speed for you

Jai Gurudeva Bau, You are a Trend-setter. This has an up – saving on travel time , environment friendly as less carbon FP.

But, Bau nothing to replace your PHYSICAL presence.

DSN and other such course may be fine but dont do that for YES+ or Sahaj; Im addicted to Bawa only because of the first personal interaction with u in my first YES+ would ve been in Skype I doubt whether I ll take the DSN course or would ve the same love for you. Even after the 3 years I still have the same gratitude respect and love to you guys. So basic courses like sahaj and YES+ should not be in Skype. I strongly believe that mobile telephone internet or cutting end technologies which are find to use in Emergency and they cannot spread love vibration emotion passion and compassion 100%. They will surely reduce them of course.
Last but not least:- You know the difference between physical presence of Guruji and Phone chats. So…….

Don’t ever make the mistake of limiting Guruji and His Grace to your own pre conceived ideas or notions
All Art of Living courses work because of His Grace … and that is boundless
Your attachment to me and dinesh is very flattering
but its not our physical presence or anybody Else’s for that matter that makes an Art of Living course what it is … It is purely His Grace

Only thing I can do is to attend as many courses as possible with you both actually present. Nothing can replace your actual presence, whatever smart solutions you may come up with

By phyical presence i meant to say that how contended you feel when we are around Guruji. I agree he is not limited or bounded to a place how many life he had transformed with one hug or one touch.. We also need that touch/smile from you guys.. I have felt/realized/tasted your love. Im asking the fresh souls should also should experience the same. Thats the reason i insisted it on the YES+ course. I know your answer will be come to ashram for advance course then

Few of ma experience that is the ultimate proof of Guruji is boundless
1. I neva thought of doing DSN and i told this to one of ma friend sitting in front of Gurji’s pic when ma friend asked me to join DSN. But he made it through Bawa n Dinesh and made me a part of history too JGD.
2. Around June one day I went to satsang very early and there Preeti Didi(teacher) and another lady was sitting there called Rama(ayurveda spclist) was practicing for satsang and asked me to join them mean while in between I casually asked her if she know any flute master where i can learn flute. She said no and Rama Di said dont worry u r asking infront of him “idhar aake jo b puchta hey mil jayega”. I took a sankalp. I had a craze with flute in ma childhood but ma parents dint allowed me to learn because of financial as well as I was poor in studies at that time. I never thought I will learn flute in ma life time yet i had a wish and used to say all ma friends I want to learn. From that day i started searching for a place to learn it all happened just like that on Guru poornima I was in Vrindhavan Gurukool under the Great flautist Shri Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasiya. Jai gurudev!!
Wonder I will meet her ever again..
I have one more wish with the flute need your blessing for that.
3. Once I met with an accident while taking U-turn mistake was from both the sides but I was all alone worried nobody was there to convince me or inquire me. I just parked ma bike n was standing on the side cursing maself suddenly a charismatic energetic passionate old lady with complete grey hair and dark powerful eyes came to me asked me to remove the shoes rotate ma legs and asked does i feel any terrible pain or any difficulty in movement. I said no. She blessed me and left. I was speechless nothing more than smile and thanks I had for her at that time..Jai guru Dev.. dint event asked whether you are from Art of Living

I like the way course happened…

1. Congrats to all for successful implementation of such a unique innovative idea.
2. Yes, Skype is really useful. We used to have regular knowledge sessions Patanajali YogaSutra and Narad BhaktiSutra over skype every Saturday. People across the globe formed a virtual e-group over skype.
3. Once I broadcasted live Satsang from Bangalore Ashram, with Guruji over this Skype group. I used two mobiles(one at Ashram) and cable connector(3.5mm male – 3.5mm male). We all were excited by listening Guruji was singing, live.
4. I suggest to use FM transmitter, that is very convenient instead of cable. We can connect it to laptop. We can connect FM Radio our mobile phone (with FM Radio) to amplifier and no need of lengthy cable. Moreover in absence of amplifier the participants can listen with their mobile phone’s FM radio, ear plugs. Just make sure not to play our Kirya tape like this
5. Even we can have simple ad-hoc sound system with help of (1) Microphone (2) laptop (3) FM Transmitter (4) Two-in-one tape recorder with FM Radio. All such things are easy to get. It is very useful to explain Ujjayi Pranayam, with sound system.

Hey good you will be able to take 3 courses simultaneously na. One happening with physical presence and other one THE skypy way. Now this is known as “SKYPE IS THE LIMIT”….. But this proves Just like our AOL CEO ie our dear Guruji, we are way beyond Limitations and limits. Bau & Dinesh Da you both Rock!!!

It was an amazzingg experience for the DSN over Skype !!!!!
We absolutely enjoyed it. However, as everyone has said, nothing can beat your and Dinesh Bhaiya’s physical presence.
To be honest, during the very first hour, I was thoroughly disappointed and shatterrrredd (thats the word), not to have you and Dinesh Bhaiya on the course. But later on realised you guys were always with us !!!!

Someone was asking earlier- Aren’t angels suppose to be everywhere. They are there baba… It’s just a matter of feeling them
Skype is just a tool for now… When Guru like Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is there and teacher like Khurshed Batliwala is there grace is suppose to flow anyways. All we might miss is all the physical presence and masti.
